That’s why AEP Ohio has a comprehensive program to manage trees and brush that grow around our lines and equipment—and it’s been shown to improve the reliability of our service.
At least every four years, you may encounter our crews in your neighborhood assessing the trees around our lines and equipment and trimming back or removing any threats. We use our expertise and know-how to spot and remove threatening limbs, keeping the safety of our crews, communities and infrastructure in mind.
