Hess - Andelyn Project
Our crews will be installing new underground electric equipment in The Ohio State University campus area. The upgrades will help meet growing electric needs and support future growth in the community.
OSU Station Project
This work will upgrade equipment, including the installation of new electric lines and equipment underground and overhead. The new equipment will help meet existing electric needs and support future growth on The Ohio State University’s Columbus campus.
Marble Cliff Project
This station project upgrade and expansion is critical to meet the growing capacity needs of the area. Additionally, the project will provide improved reliability in both the residential and commercial areas of Marble Cliff.
Hayden Station Project
This work will occur along Cosgray Road from Shier-Rings Road to Scioto Darby Road. As part of our equipment upgrades, we'll be replacing existing poles with taller poles and adding approximately six miles of electric lines to support electrical needs associated with the economic growth in the area.
University Boulevard Project
As part of our continued work in collaboration with the City of Dublin, we're relocating and installing equipment north of Shier-Rings Road, between Eiterman Road and Avery Road, to support the area's growing energy needs. These upgrades will provide power to The Ohio State University’s new Wexner Medical Center Ambulatory Care and Outpatient Center in Dublin while supporting the city’s continued beautification efforts.
Lewis Center Area Improvements
As part of our continued work, we are upgrading equipment to improve the reliability of the electric service in your community. This work includes trimming trees that threaten our power lines and installing smart sensors on our equipment to better pinpoint issues after an outage to help speed up restoration efforts.
Grove City-Pinnacle Project
As part of our continued efforts to support the Grove City area's growing energy needs, crews will install more than two miles of new underground electric line and equipment. This work will provide additional power sources to the area to reduce the likelihood of power outages and streamline restoration when an outage occurs.
Grove City-Zuber Project Improvements
We're upgrading the electric system and equipment along London-Groveport Road and Jackson Pike to support the area's growing energy needs. These improvements will include new overhead lines and equipment as well as some underground work.
Southeast Columbus Area Improvements Project
This project includes the expansion of an electric station near the intersection of Shannon Road and Brice Road, construction of approximately five miles of new transmission line and upgrading an additional nine miles of transmission line in the southeast Columbus area.
In addition to the major projects listed above, ongoing improvement and maintenance work will continue as needed across the region. Estimated work and timelines are subject to change dependent upon weather or unforeseen conditions.
New Albany-Babbitt Station Project
This work in northeast Columbus includes the construction of new distribution lines to meet the current electrical needs of the community and support rapidly expanding economic growth in the area. Check back for updated information as this project progresses.
